Plasters and Modelling Materials

Plaster is a safe, low cost medium that will reproduce fine detail. Cast plaster can be carved, turned and decorated with a range of finishes. Applications include giftware such as wall plaques, miniature cottages, chess sets and figurines. Plaster can be used in conjunction with suitable reinforcement for existing plasterwork. Restoration Plaster - A technical plaster that is thick, will not run and will adhere to most surfaces. Use in conjunction with Siligum to restore frames and mouldings. Plaster Bandage - A gauze impregnated plaster bandage, which when dipped in water will start to set after about 3 minutes. Can be used on its own in a suitable mouuld, or clad wire or card models. Newclay - This product is an air drying off white modelling clay, which because it is Nylon reinforced, is not brittle. The clay is suitable for use by children and will make strong models. When used by older children and adults, a hardener is available which will further enhance the strength. Instruction Leaflet included with each pack. Milliput - A two part epoxy putty which hardens when kneaded together, it is non shrinking and sets to a hard, durable material. The product is extremely versatile and can be used for modelling, sculpting and for general repairs around the house and garden. The Superfine White can be used to repair white goods, for porcelain restoration and in dolls hospitals. The terracotta can be used to repair pots and satuettes, damaged brickwork and quarry tiles.
