Latex Liquid Rubber - A pre-vulcanised emulsion which will air dry on the surface of a master pattern to for a highly flexible thin rubber skin. This rubber skin can then be inverted to form a mould. Latex rubber can be used for the production of moulds for such diverse items as garden ornaments to theatrical masks. Latex is easy to use, strong and will give good definition and accuracy of reproduction.

Latex Thickener - By adding up to 1 drop per gram of Latex, it will thicken the Latex to the consistency of emulsion paint. This is particularly useful when painting Latex onto non-porous surfaces, or when wishing to rapidly build up the mould thicnkess.

Remeltable PVC Compound - This material is used in similar situations to Silicone Rubber, but provides a lower cost, but less durable option. Remeltable PVC can be poured over a master to form a flexible mould. Good tensile strength and flexibility will allow castings with deep undercuts to be removed from a one piece mould, without damage. The material does not require release agent and when the mould is worn, the product can be remelted (at 130-135°C) and used again - a fully recyclable product! We offer the product in two grades, Flexible (Neutral) and Semi Flexible (Blue).

Alginate Impression Compound - A rapidly setting material that is supplied in powder form, to be mixed with water. Due to its rapid setting ability and non-toxic nature, it is commonly used in contact with skin to mould body parts e.g. hands and feet. Since the moulding compound is water based, it is best to use plaster as the moulding material to produce the cast. Moulds made with Alginate will rapidly deteriorate and are only suitable for producing one or two casts.
